Every time i try to update VAM i get a fatal error and the updater crashes, any idea whats wrong and how to fix it?

Not A Bug Fatal Error when updating

A quick google search suggests the error of (cyclic redundancy check) indicates a file was not properly stored by the system and could be caused by a failing drive. Try another drive and/or computer and also check the integrity of your existing drive and start backing up files in case it is about to fail.
