Your solution would require the VR user to be seated in front of their keyboard or to have the keys you have setup to be specifically mapped on their controllers. Theres very very limited buttons on those controllers and they all currently are mapped within VAM to other things. So, while I appreciate the attempt to support VR it ultimately is going to fall short. UNLESS there is some other reasonable plugin or addon one can use that i'm not aware of, which is totally possible.
