yeah, I guess baking is the only good way to go with current import
 
@meshedvr what smoothing algorithm is applied at the cloth import. I see there is setting on smooth iteration in the json, but no UI expose that setting
 
I was unable to replicate the smoothing algorithm in the blender. Tried different settings, including plugin "edge float".
Some kind of clever algorithm, twists "straightens" the edges
when i try to give thickness.
