Controllers not working / scenes crash while loading

Greetings.

I got my HP Reverb G2 yesterday and wanted to try it out in VAM. Everything works fine outsite of VAM but as soon as I'm in VR mode of VAM I can't see my controllers anymore. The controller's buttons don't work either (except for the Windows buttons). Does anybody have an idea what I can do to make it work?

Also I noticed that some scenes make VAM crash while they are loading. Some others work just fine though. The scenes that make VAM crash in VR mode load just fine in desktop mode. Can anybody help me please?

Yea, I thought so. Two strange behaviors nobody has an answer for. It's always me with the problems nobody else has. ?

Try running steam before starting up VaM. That made the controllers re-appear for my WMR headset.
