Commissioning Personal Life Characters

Hi,
I'm new to VAM, and very happy I'm now investing time into it.
After seeing all the brilliant Looks and Assets, and noticing some likeness to some celebrities, etc, I was wondering if creators took commissions for building someone from photos of a person in their life. E.g. it would be nice to have my wife in the virtual world.
What's the feeling towards this, and is it allowed / etc?
I don't want to break any rules, hence asking here first.

I'd say for private use its totally fine. (edit: For public release it's a different story, you would want to introduce some inaccuracies)

Its not that hard to do with facegen, some good quality photos and some tidying up in zbrush and texturing Commissions are something I'm considering doing, how much do you think it would be worth? It would take me around 2 to 5 hours.
