Hmm, not sure if I'm doing anything wrong, but I'm getting no more than 15fps on this scene in VR. Even on lower settings.
I got 7800X3d and 3080ti, and I can get most scenes easily running on 90fps. Something Im missing here?

I’m not sure what your hardware setup is, but mine is an RTX 3080, i9-10900K, and 64GB of RAM.

When I’m playing VaM while also using OBS to record the screen for previews like the one I showed you, I get around 30 ~35 FPS in Desktop mode with everything enabled (cameras + lights + Post magic LUT) in the scene.

In VR, I get around 25–27 FPS. ( all light, CAM and PM LUT enabled )

However, if you reduce the number of lights (leaving only 2) and turn off the 2 cameras, the FPS increases quite a lot.

That’s pretty much all I can recommend.

Same for me, 5070ti 5800x3d, only getting 20 fps with two lights and no screens

After this month, I’ll be going back to some of my older scenes to fix FPS issues, update them, and expand the length of some of my older-tier and free scenes.
Those scenes were made when I was just starting out with VaM, and they weren’t optimized very well because I didn’t fully understand how VaM worked back then... but things are different now.
