Dragontales submitted a new resource:

Alive Triggers allows you to bring your VaM figures to life with intelligent, body-aware reactions.

- Touch any part of her body and she knows — a gentle graze, a deliberate caress, a sharp slap each fire different triggers you configure.
- Lean in and stare at her long enough and she reacts to that too, with separate responses for a passing glance, a lingering gaze, and a full stare.

Every trigger is yours to wire up however you want — expressions...

Yes. I did find that out yesterday. This plugin is a branch of a much older plug-in that was put out under a CC-BY license. It's just the triggering part and pretty heavily modified. I often wanted it just for the triggering part for scenes, but since he's not on the hub, it made it difficult to use because people couldn't access it easily. My goal is/was not to step on any toes, but just provide a useful triggering system that was once provided.
yah. AFAIK he completely dropped the old plugin because of some changes in VAM. The new plugin is more advanced. Some people, like myself, dont publish plugins/scenes etc here. But its a personal decision.
I dont think you stepping on his toes, especially under CC-BY.

Is this for VR set only ? Or work with desktop ? I load it in atom but nothing happens, touch her with capsule for example.

Touch seems to work, at least when a person atom does the touching. However, gaze doesn't seem to work regardless of what I've tried. Gazes from person atoms are ignored. Gazes from the player are also ignored.

I'm in desktop mode.

Great plugin! If a plugin is only on patreon and not even uploaded to the hub in any capacity, it may as well not exist. I checked out SPQR's patreon, but there's not a single post that isn't locked so you can't tell what his plugins actually do or what the features are. I mean, you can tell they have names, but that's it.

Also, modular plugins are preferred. Plugins that try to do a million different things when you just want to add a trigger to something are overboard.

No, it should work in Desktop as well. But as default, it doesn't actually do anything since it's a trigger system. You have to set up the triggers that would carry out whatever action you wanted.

I totally agree with you about plugins not being on the Hub. It's kind of pointless unless you have a huge following. Yet new people are likely not going to find it or use it. As to the Gaze options, I'll be honest, I didn't test those nearly as thoroughly as the touch and it's definitely possible there's an issue. I'll look into that ASAP. I do know the original was only for User Gazes, but it should be possible to also have a person atom do it. I'll get back under the hood of the plugin as soon as I can. Promise. :)

I applaud your efforts, truly. I've been wanting just a touch triggers plugin like this recently for a scene but I will not ever use anything associated with that absolute nut job after his behaviour with the staff here. there were security issues with his code too if I recall.

unless I've missed something or somethings changed wasn't all his stuff and him banned on here as a result.

disagree. I am also creating my plugins by myself and i dont publishing something on the hub. But i am creating it mostly for my demands and scenes and more as a workhorse, instead of somewhat with shiny GUIs. Like the clothing decal maker etc. There is none, so i made one for my demands. Thats not pointless for me.
Many creators are not on the hub but somewhere else. On patreon etc.
Some creators vent from the hub away because reasons. AFAIK SPQR has also his reasons why he dont here anymore. Thats also not pointless. btw some people dont creating stuff for money, but for a small fanbase, private use. etc. I can understand it. Create public things can be time consuming.

Because this Alive plugin, i remember he told something, that because the code changes in VAM he need to begin from zero. But i dont know the details. But there was something. Its a year (maybe more) ago.

a VAST majority of the code has been updated and changed (to remove elements that referenced other pieces of his suite and added some functions that weren't there). I didn't know about the security issues, but will double check to ensure there's nothing still lurking. I can't speak to his ban or his items, but @AshAuryn messaged me yesterday with full support, so I'm assuming we're good to go.

Of course there's going to be other reasons someone may not want their stuff on the Hub. I have plenty of things I use on my own that aren't here. My statement was more about things that are supposed to be accessible to the widest audience possible. I certainly meant no offense. :)

<trigger system> Well i found that ..its need to be added triggers , but i dont know how.
I'd open any scene you like that uses buttons or any other sort of trigger and open up the atoms and look at the trigger systems and plugins to see how they're working. VAM is definitely complex and it's certainly got a learning curve. :)

yah no prob. I didnt take it that way, I just wanted to say that some people arent interested in visibility. :)
There are people, who creating violent scenes, they would be banned if they will put their stuff here. lol

Understood. And yes, I also totally understand that usage and why it might not be on here. I've wanted to create a BDSM scene (I actually have several) but not really sure I can post it here. Now with my Patreon, I could likely finish them, but we'll see.

Just a note that we do not allow links to SPQR's external accounts to be posted.

SPQR is blacklisted from the Community for threats to and harassment of the VaM staff spanning years, even after he was banned.
Anyone who has been on their Patreon for any length of time has probably seen some of the more unhinged posts. We expect another one to appear as a result of this resource.

Due to the unique nature of the circumstances, we do not feel obligated to go to extra lengths to enforce any licensing surrounding use or redistribution of any SPQR content.
We can't say what they are doing behind their paywall or whether their licenses or paywall restrictions are valid, and we aren't interested in investigating as they are already banned.
Do what you wish.

There's only like 25 percent of the original code left, so I'm going to take his name off the dependency post as soon as I'm back home
