ivam submitted a new resource:

Ashley's Apartment - nice and disgusting apartment

Hey there, A while ago I ported this apartment into Vam and I am pretty happy with the result, so i decided to share it with you guys. As always the lights are not baked and can be replaced if needed. I hope you like it. (girl and chains not included)

Hi ivam

Great Work, like your Assets, they are great.
Keep it up (y)

I just noticed, on this one and on the locker room, that the license isn't the same as it is on Open3dlab.
Just wanted to let you know, in case you aren't aware of that.

ivam updated Ashley's Apartment with a new update entry:

Is there any way you could include a blend shape on the door so we can open and close the door with the blend shapes plugin? Or is there another plugin we could use to open the door in the room?

I have to admit, that I don't know how to do this yet. For the moment I can recommend you a workaround by using this plugin:
You can add a duplicate of this room, place it in the same spot as the original and add the plugin to both assets. In the first one you deselect the door and in the second room you deselect everything BUT the door. Now you have a working door with a weird positioned hinge. To fix that, you add an empty atom, manually move it to the center of the doors actual hinges and parent the door to the empty atom. now you can open and close the door as you please.

Sorry for this janky solution, I will try to improve my unity knowledge and when I learned how to do more advanced stuff, I will post an update to control the door with a plugin.

I used the CUA_Editor to romove the door and then I used a door from a different resource to put there. But it looks janky because I had to scale the door, so it looks stretched

Maybe instead the CUA could contain both the room and the door separately? And then set the rotation point at the hinge?

Idk, whatever is easiest haha

bro what? You basically did what i suggested but instead of using the door that comes with the asset, you use a completely different door and wonder that it doesn't fit? Why don't you duplicate the room, leave ONLY the door in the first one and ONLY the room in the other? that would do the trick for now xD

Well I did try what you suggested, but animating the door open is just not possible since the rotation point is off in the distance...

Well, it can be opened/closed, but during animation the door just flys all over the place.

you missed the point with the empty atom. add an empty atom to the scene, place it where the hinge should be and parent the door to that hinge. now you can rotate the hinge and the door will move as you want it to.
