Hi. I've been experimenting trying to get a whip without CUA or scripts. I made a whip, with a glove attachement to the body, then set the glove with a separate material and set the alpha to 0. Recommend hand grasp morph. May require tweaking depending on use.

Unzip and copy files into custom folder.
Ensure you have ALL the dependencies.
Load scene and wait for 90 seconds or so while she talks to you. Then click the buttons for the action.

For best results, in User Preferences, set physics rate to a minimum of 90hz and Physics Update Cap to 3. (the higher the better). The asset is usable at the default settings, but performs much better at higher physics update rates.
