    Genital G2F

There is no guide for this at all but I guarantee the same rules apply in that the vert count and order must be retained You will require the linked New Gens for Victoria 6 installed in Daz to do any modelling of the gens. I got no idea if this works exactly like this since I have not done...

Official Halloween Mystery Pack Master Post

@P.U.R.E Mine wasnt as simple as an actual number, no sir that would be too easy!! There are actually 5 instances of my number in the scene, mostly hidden in the nails.

How many VAR's do you have currently? Overall VAM files size?

My testing showed 1000 vars = approx 10-15 fps loss so you should see some minor uplift in fps from less vars plus another uplift for not having local and var morphs loading. Best to use the official benchmark by macgruber on the hub to quantify vs your old install.

How many VAR's do you have currently? Overall VAM files size?

And how many vars have you got to cause that?

who knows why our best sound engineer hazmhox went offline from vam discord/hub for so a long time or why he never came back?? 🤔

Last I heard from Haz it was end of July and he was saying it was too hot to vam in the evenings as we had a scene in progress. Do hope he's alright and its just a hiatus.

How many VAR's do you have currently? Overall VAM files size?

That's real strange as that's not my experience. When I started organising they all disappeared from the list filtered/flattened views so i put it all back....maybe its my end only.

How many VAR's do you have currently? Overall VAM files size?

Only do this if you never plan to use the var list on the left side or the filtered/flattened options to find things as any var that doesn't sit in the top level folder is not included in those searches.

How many VAR's do you have currently? Overall VAM files size?

I'm 90% of the way done on a guide based on my experience with my clean up to help with that!! I'm hoping to get time to get it done and dusted this week

Making gay scenes based on existing straight scenes

Just check out the licenses on the content you wish to adapt, you can do this in the package manager in vam(closed box icon) or just open the var and read the meta.json file. As long as its not got the ND - Non Derivative - or PC/Questionable license you will be all good to share! Other than...

How many VAR's do you have currently? Overall VAM files size?

Indeed I too really hope there's a better way to handle all of this in 2.x I find it utterly ridiculous that inactive content is able to negatively impact performance by such a huge margin just by virtue of its very existence. I don't even think that the 2000 vars I currently have is in any...

How many VAR's do you have currently? Overall VAM files size?

So some stuff you can just open the var and dump the custom folder into your vam root folder and all it does is host locally and nothing breaks. Clothes, hair, custom unity assets and poses I have done with no issues and no quantifiable effect on fps outside a margin of error. Scenes and looks...

How many VAR's do you have currently? Overall VAM files size?

How the fuck is your vam even running with that many, my testing found 1000vars in the db = 10-15 fps loss

How many VAR's do you have currently? Overall VAM files size?

Been on a mission to clean up my install an pare back the var count significantly. I'm on 19 11900k, 3080, 32 gb 3600 ddr4 using macgrubers benchmark to quantify the results 1000 vars removed = approximately extra 10-15 fps Started with 5800 vars and now down to only 1800 (only lulz) but I...

Why is VaM rendering much faster than Daz3d (and other 3d modeling software)?

I guess its a matter of approach to rendering, Rasterisation which is whats in use by Vam is essentially the product of 20 years of faking 3d images to look realistic but its all done on a face by face basis in that each polygon is treated like a surface and the system lights this surface then...

Why is VaM rendering much faster than Daz3d (and other 3d modeling software)?

Vam doesn't render in the same sense as Daz or blender etc. They use raytraced\pathtraced rendering which is very accurate but awfully slow as its done on a pixel by pixel basis where as Vam is a rasterized render which is much faster to render allowing "realtime" rendering.

    DAZ 3d and VAM

This can be done, all you need to do is export as BVH from daz and load the resulting BVH with one of the BVH plugins. I do find that its really not very accurate with many nodes not being in their expected positions.

    morph organizer?

Unfortunate nothing like that is available and you pretty much have to hope that the morph creator properly categorised it or your limited to named searches only. You can try to deduplicate your morphs via my guide https://hub.virtamate.com/resources/legacy-morph-cleanup-guide.3355/ but you...

    Increased FPS when using openVR

Just a shout out that reshade v5 works with steamvr now and the amd shader is included and seems to work quite well from my limited testing.
