    Clearing Cache Crashes the Game

For games in general a external drive is possibly not a problem at all and may not even have any noticeable performance penalty. VaM is not a typical gamel, a external USB drive, even with a SSD, will include more points to reduce performance, writing permissions, etc. For those on laptops, not...

Timeline import animation but at same spot

There's a "Control" target in there, it's the person's root control. You can try deleting that target and see if that allows you to reposition the person while keeping the animations still working. If that doesn't work it's going to be too much of a pain exploring other options.

    Clearing Cache Crashes the Game

Changing the Cache's directory is done in user preferences; changing the VaM folder is done in File Explorer, you just move the folder wherever you want it* *but not in a protected permissions place lik Program Files or Users

    Clearing Cache Crashes the Game

Using VaM on a external drive can bring on endless potential problems, not advised at all. The cache being on a external drive would be ok I think, just not VaM itself.

    Modifying ready-made characters

To overwrite a existing local preset you need to use the same name, the button then turns from green to red. Same thing as overwriting a file, needs to be the same name or else it's a different file,

How do I fully control/get a male body

Maybe there's a plugin or two that can emulate walking in some way, you need to look around. For real tracking of more than your head and hands, you need trackers and/or base stations.

How can I delete custom gifs in a var CUA?

To make Unity assets (CUA) you need Unity. I have no idea about what gifs you're refering to.

How can I delete custom gifs in a var CUA?

VAR is a zip file created for use in VaM with content of any sort, while a CUA is a Unity created asset. If you need to edit a VAR: https://hub.virtamate.com/resources/anatomy-of-a-var.36093/ If you need to edit a CUA you need to use Unity and look up online how that could work.

looks not showing in the select existing looks area

This tutorial deals with appearance presets. Not everyone includes appearance presets when sharing a look, often just a scene, so you need to make you own appearance preset from the scene's person.

Can I roll sex scenes into other scenes as subscenes?

It's doable, but as scenes as made in countless ways you need some experience with scene making to be able to do it or even understand how much work it would require.

VaM_Updater.exe does not launch at all - crashes

Documents, and anything in the Users directory, has special permissions and may give problems. That could be the reason for your issue. It's best to have VaM in a simple folder like C:\VaM or similar. If the problem is related to permissions, my advice is for you to download from patreon a fresh...
