A few people have asked if I would share this look, so here she is.
I've worked on and off on this look for yonks, she's changed a lot in that time, but think she's finally in a state where she's shareable.
No scene included, just an appearance preset.
MrGiggly updated Blender 3.2+ Texture Conversion Templates (G3F/G8F to G2F) or (G2F to G8F) with a new update entry:
Additional Template added

An additional template has been added - available via the download link to allow conversion from G2F to G8F
Whilst we still don't have final confirmation on what VAM2 will support, this is a pre-empt to allow conversion.
It can be used in conjunction with Chokaphi's excellent Daz Generations...
For anyone who is interested in setting up their own bake templates for other variants or simply baking in general these two vids really helped me get things up and running.
Key elements for setting up are creating accurate clones as they need to be 1:1 between generations. Daz clones only...
MrGiggly submitted a new resource:

Blender texture conversion templates (Version 2)
An updated version of my original texture converter template moved to Blender 3.2+ to support the current GUI

You can use Chokaphi's daz generations converter plugin. It includes import/export in the menu.
It also adds them as an extra option in the regular import/export menu
Hi
Hi
It is actually as simple as dropping the .dsf in your VAM morphs folder
VAM will search the morph root folders and all subfolders within them and create .vmi's and .vmb's for any .dsf's it finds without them.
It doesn't care what those subfolders are called and it has no relationship to...
Daz and DIM are a both a bit of a nightmare when it comes to fracturing your library and installing it in stupid default locations.
They also make it needlessly confusing for new users on how to configure and fix things when it comes to content management, much like the rest of the app tbh :)
I...
What version of genesis are you converting from?
Is your source skin definitely a 'base' version for that genesis model?
Have you checked that you're applying your converted textures to a skin in VAM that uses base UV (ie not a variant such as Olympia, etc)?
Hi Chloe
Thought it worth mentioning that as at the time of writing this, Stoppers static clothing plugin causes issues with not being able to save poses in both timeline and body language.
This is obviously not to detract from this great release, but just as a general pointer for folks if...
Really lovely environment.
Just a couple of things...
Missing colliders on the sofa with no cushions
An option without baked in lights would make it more appealing to those who prefer their own light setups
Hi there
Sure Chokaphi will get back to you, but in the meantime....
Daz morphs are stored as .dsf files - daz needs this format to be able to use them
those .dsf can be copied over to your VAM morphs folder - when vam finds a new .dsf file it will create a .vmb and .vmi file which is what it...
Hi JayJay
Has anyone ever asked about the following for loading pose presets from the browser...
An option to supress loading any morph's that are included in the pose preset file?
There's a wealth of great poses out there that I'm sure end up frustrating folks when they load morphs too...
I'll take a look when I get chance but I suspect there's not a lot that can be done.
It's really due to the less than ideal topology layout of G2 in this area - so when we try to make an exact clone of G8 to look like G2, it struggles to align these areas.
Hi,
Afraid not. Responded on this one back in 2021 :)
You could try the FaceBlend plugin though and see if that covers your requirements.
