i tested on my end and everything works fine, make sure you haven't modified your vam installation and that you are on the latest version. test on a fresh vam install to confirm
male gens only have 3 bones so it wont be usable for all the way in, there is simply not enough joints that can allow it to bend correctly at that length. you must use a custom rigged CUA that have 15 bones or more like tentacles for example

that's probably due to how you setup the physics in your CUA asset within Unity, normally my plugin doesn't have parenting frame lag as i use it all the time without any issues
