I am using just mouse and keyboard, no vr controller, and I can't find up to date tutorial on how to animate and record animations

After changing some appearances, my pc is crashing due to all 32gb ram being used by VAM, maybe I am missing some feature to unload it from the memory, but it's still very bad.

I was about to create one on my own, but I've read that file IO is blocked, so how to approach this? EDIT: Nvrmnd, I did it with python already, but a check for redundant assets/plugins in the editor would be nice though
