We are excited to announce a new feature on the Hub: Favorites!
You can now add resources to your favorites, and organize your favorites into collections!
You can check out the details in our official announcement!
Sure... without going into the specific ratios or anything, the score looks a bit at reviews, more at reactions, and considerably more at downloads -- specifically how often a resource is downloaded relative to others in a similar time-frame. Updates (and whether or not people download those...
Coming soon... there will be an update to the Hub adding a "Hot Picks" section. It's auto-generated and auto-updated and looks at several factors to determine a resource's popularity, and should be a very useful tool for finding the actual resources on the Hub that people consider to be the best...
Oh yeah... tweaking the dependencies tab is still on the to do list. The good news at least is that for the in-game browser, it downloads the dependency versions referenced in the parent var file, and not just the latest.
Certainly doable, though obviously only for files uploaded to the Hub. For multiple files, probably best to just show the total, since the assumption is that you'll need to download all the files to get the content.
Also, for the in-game browser, file sizes for both the resource and each...
Yeah, the problem with fulltext indexes is that you can't (well more accurately shouldn't) change their structure on a table that already has content. The right way to do it is to rebuild the table from scratch and re-populate the data. Which is, as you say, not straightforward, and it almost...
Getting the Hub-Hosted tag into the filters on the main Hub site would be... complicated... as it's calculated based on a number of factors that are not native to the system. So doable, but not as straightforward as it might seem.
However, filtering by Hub-Hosted from within VaM is not only an...
Thanks for the mockup... there are certainly other ways to display the information to accomplish the goal, so we can play around with that.
Again, just to clarify... these links ONLY show up when the creator’s specific package is used by the resource you’re viewing. So merely throwing a patreon...
There is a setting in XenForo that allows shorter words, but the database engine uses 4+ letter words for indexing, so adjusting that setting has no practical effect on the Hub searches. It might be possible to force a search of a series of words (for example if you search "Give me FPS" it would...
It's a fair topic of discussion. Just to present another perspective...
First, it's important to note that these promotional links for dependencies only show up if:
A. The dependency package is a FREE resource HOSTED on the Hub (and therefore is downloadable from the Hub itself)
B. The...
I know there are a couple plugins that include modified alpha values... Doofenschmalphys.TransparencyToolv1_0 can change the alpha of body parts, and Chokaphi.DecalMaker can generate new decal textures with varying alpha levels. But is it possible to change the opacity of textures on the fly?
A...
Personally I like the latest reviews, as it's a good indicator of resources that people are actively using/trying, and this will be even more so the case once people start writing reviews from within VaM. Much easier to do when you're in the middle of trying out a new download and it's top of mind.
Like hazmhox said, the Hub-Hosted Var tag will do the necessary work for you... While the package will show up on the Hub in the Free section, it won't have the Hub Hosted tag.
More significantly, it will NOT show up in VaM's in-game Hub browser if and when a user is looking through Hub Hosted...
FYI it was the line breaks in the credits that were causing the issue. We've fixed this moving forward., though any time someone manually edits the meta.json file it can potentially cause issues. Fortunately it doesn't happen that often (I think this was only the second out of 1000+ uploads).
I'll add a plug for Ren as well... Ren's most recent (Lisa) may be exactly what you're looking for, and the cellulite normal maps that come with Tasha can add some more dimension to any model...

Good suggestions on the versioning and making ti more clear which specific vars have dependencies... we're still working on tweaking a few things and ironing out some minor bugs, and I'll add these to the mix as well.
I'll add that YOU don't have to be the one to upload those dependencies to the hub. As long as the creators upload them, your post will get the tag (once all the dependencies you use are available directly from the Hub). So if you want to get the tag, encourage the creators whose work you are...
So I haven't done a ton of testing yet, but I did find one potential area for improvement within VaM... I was looking at a pack of 40 poses... 11mb VAR, 61mb uncompressed. The main culprit? The VaM-generated thumbnail images. It seems that when you take a screenshot for a thumbnail in VaM... for...
Hypothetically it might be possible to have a secondary directory where access is granted to certain posts via the patreon itself (much like Patreon can grant specific access levels to a discord server). And files hosted on Patreon do have direct downloadable links, though if the post is limited...
