Are the morph inconsistent between Daz and VaM?

Found it... so yeah, you can completely do this in each step. In Blender, object mode, add the smooth modifier, set the Factor to 1, and repeats to 4. See video. I think this displays the why of your results better. What's even better, if you apply the modifier before you start morphing, you...

Plugins + Scripts Vam To Daz 2

It was my mistake... I did not read properly in post #86 (which I ironically quoted in my post, above). " Dropping the .dsf into the VAM female morphs folder so that it generates the new .vmi/.vmb files " For some reason my brain registered that as " Dropping the .dsf into the VAM2DAZ tool "...

Import My BDO characters or blender ladies.

Well.. Thanks! if there's a way to import items like clothes from blender? Im getting the hang oF the morphs in VAM, just was feeling a little lazy and wanted to have My BDO lady "exact" .. that dosent seem possible amyway. But the armor would be managable if I took sometime. and If i knew...

Question how to fix converted normal textures?

If you load the genesis 2 model (or output model obj from vam) in blender you can load the base colour for each material as an image texture, selecting your converted normal map for torso, arms et cetera on this main layer so you can see them clearly. Then in texture paint mode use a smudge tool...

Can you export from latest version of Blender into 2018 Unity?

I have had hit and miss with going from Blender to Unity. Sometimes things export and just work, others they are messed for no visible reason. There are plenty of room models out there for VaM already, so unless you have a reason to want to make your own try looking at the free ones that exist...

VaM 1.x How to Blender model to usable Look

That's the only one I know unfortunately. You could try going through the VaM: Guides section to get more context for some parts of his workflow though. Some of these might be helpful for example. Wrapping: https://hub.virtamate.com/resources/your-endallbeall-guide-to-wrapping.25174/ Morph...

Question Any good videos or tutorials on Blender to Daz for importing/fitting clothing

Mopedlampe did a video guide for fitting and importing a pair of shoes. There are more in guides in the wiki tab. https://hub.virtamate.com/resources/video-guide-on-how-to-fit-and-import-any-3d-clothing-item-to-virtamate.24629/

Question Cloth Blender to VAM and back

Yeah that much is easy enough, and it's good as a scale reference but it's never quite as perfect as wrapping to morphs. I think I have an idea for kind of a roundabout method, basically, wrap to morphs, export the VAR, harvest your own VAR and shove that into blender maybe?

VaM 1.x How to import a morph from Blender into VAM

You can use my guide to do exactly this - https://hub.virtamate.com/resources/vam-to-blender-to-vam.3759/ I would only use my method if I had an existing vam girl I wanted to do and only if those mods are skin deep things like nose shapes etc as there is no way to update the bone rig doing it...

    Clothing shatterable window 1
    Hub-Hosted VAR CC BY

really simple window shattering, open demo scene other info, if you want to do this on your own, in blender, you'll have to separate by edges and subdivide to get vam to notice collision, and paint in some different alphas for the edges of the window to give that shattered effect, an

VaM 1.x Skirts imported from Daz3d warping around crotch area.

It can be caused one of 2 ways, either daz fitting the clothes or as a result of vams cloth wrapping im not sure which it is in this case but it sounds like when vam is wrapping the clothes. If its happening when fitting the clothing in Daz, you need to hand fit the shorts using sculpting...

Questions about creating joint correction morphs (Vam to blender to Vam)

[ I don't know if it's possible to re-position the obj model loaded from vam on daz. (Maybe something I don't know.) I do a pose in vam and then export it as obj. Sculpting in blender and then applying joint correction morphs in daz works well as I intended. However, when I check this in vam...

Plugins + Scripts Blender templates to convert OBJs exported from VAM into OBJs that use UDIM

You need to put the textures into the same folder and name them all the same but with a diffrerent (pre-)suffix: filename.udim_tile_number.png. E.g. Base_female.1001.png, Base_female.1002.png, ... etc. , with the texture content fitting the UV layout, so the torso texure needs to be *.1001.png...

Solved Any guides or tips how to import a self made model too VAM?

Hey, necro, but do you have a mirror for this? Seems it has disappeared, and I'm having a hard time finding *any* info on importing rigged .blend characters into VAM.
