Guides How I make my clothing in blender

lol, o.k., I'll try to figure it out I guess. Hello, can you help me? @Re-visions_VAM I used the Gen2 mesh that you provided and followed your tutorial exactly, but when I import into Daz (to make the .duf) the clothing item is extremely tiny in Daz. I'm able to scale it up but then it...

    Suggestions After First Play

Another thing is if you look at Blender or Daz (and VAM), there is a pretty high learning curve compared to Photoshop. The difference between Blender and VAM is marketing. Blender is marketed only as a creation software, but VAM is marketed more as a game. If people go in to VAM expecting an...

    Have a basic Blender question

For what you are wanting to do, you can essentially think of blender as a "boneless" model. You can rig models within blender but you would have no need to for anything related to vam. You are correct that there is no bone information being interpreted from Daz. It's only poly groups and...

    Daz 3d Help

Here is one that is pretty good. This link is an adult site: https://www.erome.com/a/H6ImegFr Here is another one: That uses GIMP to add weight to imported clothing. I'm not sure that either one deals with remapping clothes for a different generation to fit GF2. That is really a DAZ...

Plugins + Scripts Vam To Daz 2

Hi there Sure Chokaphi will get back to you, but in the meantime.... Daz morphs are stored as .dsf files - daz needs this format to be able to use them those .dsf can be copied over to your VAM morphs folder - when vam finds a new .dsf file it will create a .vmb and .vmi file which is what it...

Guides Blender 3.2+ Texture Conversion Templates (G3F/G8F/G9 to G2F) or (G2F/G8.1F/G9 to G8F) - Additional Template added

An additional template has been added - available via the download link to allow conversion from G2F to G8F Whilst we still don't have final confirmation on what VAM2 will support, this is a pre-empt to allow conversion. It can be used in conjunction with Chokaphi's excellent Daz Generations...

    Question How to create cloths

Hi everyone As I understood (not sure if I'm right yet), you need to create/buy cloths in DAZ and fit them to a G2 figure with the desired morphs then they can be imported to VAM, However what if I create them in other software such as blender and then use daz to fit them on a figure then...

Warning: Geometry did not match, failed to create morph.

Hello again. Won't spam threads but I have another question. I was told it's possible to make clothes in Blender as opposed to Daz. Are there any guides anyone knows of so I can use my currently learned Blender stuff to start making clothes as well as morphs? Basically know how to make stuff...

Solved Is there a way to import a Blender model into VAM without DAZ?

Daz is recommended because the mesh and rigging of vam is based on it. You really can't just use any 3d model and expect to get all the animation, posing, clothing, hair, etc. There are advanced methods to transfer the characteristics of a model onto a Daz g2f character, but it's pretty complex

Guides Vam to Blender to Vam

I've made a small genital zone fix in blender and I see my morph working correctly in DAZ but when I export and try to apply resulting dsf in VAM it doesn't morph all parts but just a piece of butt crack. I assume that the export-from-blender part went fine if it works in DAZ afterwards. I've...

    Question How to create cloths

I'm new too. So, I could be wrong but I'm happy to guide you through. Here is the basic idea. To import a cloth item in vam you need .duf file. which is basically a daz saved scene file. So, no matter what you do, you need DAZ as a middleman. And yes you can use blender or any other software to...

Guides Import genesis 8 character(only morph) to vam(with pictures)

Thanks for the clarification. I'm going to try to stay in Daz and VAM, there's a limit to how much complexity an old man can handle.

    Orc fangs for male

Shouldn't be to hard. Export a gen 2 model from daz to blender and from the teeth mesh pull/move some vertices forming the shape export back to daz and from there export the morph to vam. Basically that's all you'll be doing but you should look into exporting and importing the models properly...

I got tired of using CUAs/Hair/Clothing to get a good looking pair of rabbit ears - this took way too long to tweak, but now I kinda know the VAM->DAZ->Blender->DAZ->VAM workflow! if you like this and want to see more, please rate and comment so I know!

    Realistic labia minor morphs

Looks really good, murn, very realistic actually, which doesn't shock me coming from a talented artist like yourself, but not precisely what I'm looking for when comparing to my OP image. I do have all those morphs from the creators mentioned. I'll either have to create one from daz and blender...
