ZenScroll lets you scroll VaM lists with your VR controller stick, and it keeps your feet on the ground while you do it.
What it does
Scroll with the stick: point a controller at a list and push the stick of that same controller.
Inner peace for your legs: while a controller points at a window, you cannot move. Point away and you can walk again.
Adjustable: scroll speed, stick deadzone and direction. The movement block can be switched off.
Light on your setup: one script, no dependencies.
How to use
Download the package and put it in your AddonPackages folder.
Add ZenScroll.cs as a Session Plugin.
Point at a list. Push the stick. Achieve enlightenment.
Known limits
Tested with a Meta Quest 3 in Oculus mode only. OpenVR support is built in but untested, so reports are welcome.
Web pages in the VaM browser do not scroll.
The movement block also applies to other UI panels in a scene, not just the main menu.
In OpenVR mode, left and right are swapped if you swap the stick axes in VaM.
