My updated plugin here will cause controllers to disappear in SteamVR.

If you are SteamVR users, please use this one from fholger instead:

replace the openvr_api.dll under ".\VaM_Data\Plugins" with the new one and edit openvr_mod.cfg for your setup.

This plugin does not work as good as mine because it lacks the option to adjust vertial offset, so the sharpest image may not be at the center. But it works.
0. Tested on Meta Quest link and Virtual Desktop streaming. Does not work for SteamVR!

Building the project requires some knowledge with Visual Studio 2022 and git.

2. How does it work?
It currently performs Fixed Favorted rendering. (Reducing render resolution near the edges. Some devices such as Pimax already implemented this). You can also choose to use image upscaling such as FSR/CAS/NIS with this plugin.

3. What is my setup?
I am using Quest 3 with 4080S GPU and 14700k CPU. Streaming with Virtual Desktop at 72 fps, Godlike quality.
in game settings: render resolution 1.0, 2x MSAA, physics rate 72 fps and physics updates cap 1.
I am mostly playing VaM Produce 69 https://hub.virtamate.com/resources/vam-produce-69-ii-user-manual.61180/, achieving 72 fps in most single character scenes at native resolution near the center.
