VoiceModVAM gives you fine control over voice audio effects on a Person atom It adds pitch shifting, filters, echo, flutter, chorus, formant manipulation, and more. some of the effects are "cheesed" as in not the actual effect but still opens the doors to having fun adding a bit of uniqueness to voices.
VMV (Voice Mod VAM) Affects any audio that comes through the head audio only so it will affect audio from plugins like VamMoan also
. If you want to have a bit of nervous flutter/tremble of the voice you can enable the chorus flutter and adjust the min/max sliders for where the affected range would be.
Distortion is more of a vocal boost from 0-99. Only at 100 you get the distortion effect and it's bloody loud but you can still do some cool things with it as long as you lower the voice volume.
If you switch voice presets and hear no change just hit reset or default and then choose the preset you want to hear/use.
If your audio is synced with the timeline then the timeline will have full control of the speed/pitch of the audio.
VMV is not a magic wand it is not perfect and using some fake and a few(cheesed) actual DSPs effects that unity supports. VMV is not VoiceMod even tho it is a voice mod.

Resets pitch, volume, cutoff frequencies.
Clean exit. No voice pollution.

Flutter & Chorus Controls

| Chorus Amount | Simulates multiple voices slightly out of sync. |
| Enable Chorus Flutter | Activates LFO-based pitch fluctuation. |
| Flutter Chorus Min/Max | Range of pitch fluctuation when flutter is on. |
Using Presets
- Dropdown: "Voice Presets" – Choose from 20+ themed presets.
- Each preset auto-loads a combo of pitch, formant, flutter, etc.
- Presets include:
- Male - Deep Bass, Female - Angelic Whisper, Alien Banshee, ASMR Succubus, Lizard Politician... and more.
Save / Load Slots
5 user-defined slots available.
Save:
- Tune sliders.
- Click Save Slot # button.
Load:
- Click Load Slot # to instantly restore that setup.
Clear:
- Removes saved values in slot.
- Slot becomes empty and reload does nothing.
Reset Sliders
- Press "Reset Sliders" button to revert all values to defaults (same as "Default" preset).
- Flutter toggles off and sliders re-disabled.
Destruction Cleanup
When plugin is removed or atom deleted
Resets pitch, volume, cutoff frequencies.
- Disables all filters.
- Echo and distortion are zeroed.
Clean exit. No voice pollution.
Advanced Usage Notes
- All filters auto-added to each AudioSource on the Person.
- Plugin actively modifies pitch every frame (Time.time), especially for flutter.
- Pitch calc includes:
pitch = pitchControl * tempoControl + flutterMod + chorusMod + formantShift contribution
