Please make sure you've included all the dependencies. The new resource pack added in the DLC1 update is required.
Based on what you described, the missing resource pack is here. However, I suggest using the in-game Hub feature to check for dependencies. You might be missing others as well.

I've been a big fan of K-pop since the days of Girls' Generation, or even earlier. Those were the good old days when the girls could freely showcase their bodies and charm on stage. My love for K-pop and J-pop led me to discover MMD, and I found it to be an interesting way to enjoy music and dance.I'm glad you can find enjoyment in them too. These two things often create a unique and fascinating chemistry.
It's the same with VAM. At first, I just wanted to create a simple scene, but then I discovered that the results of combining them were so captivating. Now, I want to share them with more people. Other than that, exploring "what VAM can do" is also incredibly fun and often brings me surprising discoveries along the way.
Actually, at first, I only planned to update 69 songs (as suggested by the scene's name). But more and more people, like you, started enjoying it, which made me continue updating. Now, another DLC and the third season are on the way.

VAM is a highly flexible sandbox where you can achieve a lot, especially when you treat it purely as an engine. Your only real limitation is the hardware bottleneck. The updated Unity engine used in VAM 2.x might unlock even more possibilities. Have fun creating, and if you need any advice, let me know. Thank you for your feedback.
