VAM 2 DAZ v1.10 Converter for Blender 4.0

Plugins + Scripts VAM 2 DAZ v1.10 Converter for Blender 4.0

Download [2.68 MB]
Changes in this version:

- Automatic genital detection to avoid large deformations in this area.
- Shape key adaptation. No separate shape key is generated for the figure in order to be able to generate new keys for changes on this mesh.

1. Export the female VAM mesh in OBJ format from the program.
2. Install the plugin in Blender.
3. Load the VAM mesh into Blender via the side panel (VAM 2 DAZ).
4. Create a DAZ mesh, whether skinned or in T-Pose, with Genitalia or not.
5. Edit the DAZ mesh in Blender as needed. Adjustments can be made to the pose of skinned meshes and saved as a separate morph for export back to VAM in DAZ Studio.
6. Export the DAZ mesh in OBJ format and load it as a morph in DAZ Studio.
7. Export the DAZ morph for VAM. Note: In the current version of DAZ Studio 4.23, the morph export process has changed; it can now be found under Modifier Assets.

Planned: Version 2.0 then also supports male figures.
