Hi Guest!
Please be aware that we have released a critical security patch for VaM. We strongly recommend updating to version 1.22.0.7 using the VaM_Updater found in your installation folder.
Details about the security patch can be found here.
But I have a problem, I would like to test the passthrough mode but VAM starts automatically with Steam VR even when I use Virtual Desktop, what should I do? THANKS !
Create a text file in your VAM root directory (where the exe file is located). Rename the file to "whatever.bat" (.bat is important). Open the file with any text editor and paste
"C:\Program Files\Virtual Desktop Streamer\VirtualDesktop.Streamer.exe" "D:\VR\VAM\VaM.exe" (with the quotes, as a single line), change the full paths to where your exe files are located on your system. Now start VAM with this file when you are in Virtual Desktop.
Passtrough optimized is the way for vam from now on.
Very well made an easyli in passtrough usable.
Maybe create a version that starts in passtrough mode and the passtrough color could be standardized for all vam. Thanks!
The point of this scene was to make the switch passthrough/non-passthrough/desktop as convenient as possible so I don't have to maintain different versions. But we will see what happens in the future when more people use passthrough. It's still a very experimental feature after all.

Hope this helps, cheers.
