    We have posted a new VaM2 dev log on Patreon, starting a monthly cadence of written progress updates between Beta releases. Highlights include the new Gizmos System, Selection Carousel, and Modes System with Context-Specific Editing. Beta1.2 is 15 of 21 items complete.

- Set the correct .assetbundle file reference version to v9.
-- Small fix:
- Fixed offset nodes mouse trackball rotation to behave correctly at any player viewing angle.
-- Bug Fix:
- Fixed memory leak problem.
- Fixed previously broken assetbundle reference in v6, now properly references it's own version's assetbundle file.

- Fixed nail assets failing to load on preset load, If both sync & enable colorize we're saved as enabled in the preset.
** This update is not backwards compatible with previous versions due to changes in parenting mode **

-- New Features & Improvements:

- Added performance skin vertex parenting method from SkinVertexLink and removed the bone parenting method, which makes the nails more resistant to clipping from morphs.
- Added node system for moving & rotating nails with mouse, will be synced with the UI sliders and has auto mirror feature.
- Added feature to load Nails as hidden game objects instead of CUA Atoms to remove cluttering of atom controllers.
- Added feature for split customization options & custom textures for nails, now toenails & fingernails can be customized individually or in sync.
- Added render queue material parameter.
- Added new nail variant as suggested from discussion forum, named "Stiletto claw".
- Added full support for clothing plugin manager, can now be used & referenced as a clothing plugin.
-- new features:
- Added logic & toggle to disable collision on loaded CUA nail assets to prevent interaction with person triggers / avoid messing up plugins that rely on those triggers (collision is now disabled by default)
- Added a couple more random diffuse textures

- Fixed Gimbal lock on rotation offsets (rotation sliders going nuts at certain values)
- Plugin won't cause error on loading CUA asset, now the path is predefined in the plugin (unfortunately this means no more loading custom CUAs)
- Added range multipliers to XYZ Offsets
- Default preset removed, plugin loads Base Female nail offsets by default now. can work off from it depending on your character hands & feet morphs
- Added logic to remove all nails if you Disable plugin (after 1 second delay), and restore them once plugin is Re-enabled

- There were so many bugs and problems introduced by the ability to load custom CUAs, for now i don't have enough knowledge to properly deal with it so you have to make do with the shapes i included in the plugin for now as it is more stable this way (i'll add more depending on community requests along the line)
-- bug fix:
- Fixed the way plugin loads presets, now it should load presets in other scenes just fine

- if you want to load your own custom CUA Nails make sure to package them in a .var first then load them from there, plugin tends to bug out if you load CUAs from your regular Custom/Assets folder
