Hi Guest!
Please be aware that we have released a critical security patch for VaM. We strongly recommend updating to version 1.22.0.7 using the VaM_Updater found in your installation folder.
Details about the security patch can be found here.
The latest version of the horn pack doesn't seem to work if you download the VAR in game. However the link you sent me made the horns work. Thank you so much!
Great, I'm glad to hear that fixed it!
It's strange that the in-game download is different from the "Download" button on the Hub page (where I got that link), I wonder why.
That's frustrating! It should be an easy fix. It's *probably* simply because you don't actually have the latest version of the horns asset. Sharr's updates to this asset are numbered "1," "2," then "1" again, so the Version 3 filename is "Sharr.Horn_Pack.1.var", identical to Version 1, which confuses things.
Try downloading: https://hub.virtamate.com/resources/a-devilish-horn-pack.3083/download directly to \AddonPackages.
**Make sure you DO overwrite the file you have already.** Restart or hard reset VAM before loading Rayla's V4 scene again. I just did this again on my "clean" test VAM install, and it worked fine.
If that still doesn't work, please let me know via DM or Discussion page! I would like to help figure it out for you, and in case anyone else has the same problem.
IF you're using the AppearancePreset: Make sure you read my instructions on using CUAManager to bring over the horns. They are Unity assets, and therefore not technically a part of the "appearance," and will not load without the extra steps (and even then, they will be colored white). It's the nature of presets.
As a side note, I always respond to DMs and comments in the Discussion and am always happy to help figure out the problems (hence, 4 versions, haha), even when (as in this case, most likely) it's not a problem with the content itself. A poor review isn't at all necessary to get my attention, I hope! =)
Amazing look, as always. Beautiful presentation as well! I am not familiar with The Last Dragon Guard, but I really appreciate the look. Thanks Syrinxo!
Thanks for the review!!
The show is called The Dragon Prince on Netflix; "the Last Dragon Guard" is just a title the character gets in the show. (Sorry, spoilers, kinda?)
YES! A fellow Rayla lover! Fucking amazing work on this look. you managed to capture her cartoony essence in a more realistic model, not something everyone can do 10/10.
It's strange that the in-game download is different from the "Download" button on the Hub page (where I got that link), I wonder why.
