After a long struggle, i think I finally squashed all the bugs. If you find any, please let me know
I need to apologize, guys. This plugin is still not in usable shape. Check it out if you want to see my progress, but i don't expect anyone will want to use it regularly yet. This is my fiurst plugin, and turned out to be hellaciously complicated; the pointing algorithm itself is easy, but fighting to override Vam's targeting system was not. Every bug fixed seemed to make another bug pop up, and I didn't do nearly enough testing before releasing it. Lesson learned. But it's coming along, and I'm still confident it'll get there.

I Discovered that to use in VR, you MUST go to user preferences>VR2> and select the VR hands Male 1 or Male 2. I will try to fix this eventually but it's a low priority task.
Added checkbox option "don't target hidden nodes" option. Thanks gghhoosstt123 for the suggestion.
While using desktop, nodes were being selected whenever the mouse pointer got close, leading to users switching nodes while trying to adjust position and rotation. Default desktop "Touch Angle" and Hold Angle" settings have been reduced so that a new node is only selected by pointing right at it. The VR settings have not been changed. Users can customize any of these values in the plugin UI. Saved settings override the new defaults, so if you've saved settings, you'll need to make the described adjustment manually, then resave the settings.
Fixed bug introduced in v4 that changed position to parent mode in some cases.
Fixed bug where displayed text of targetted atom showed vam's target choice instead of the plugins.
Bug fix: now works in VR for grabbing and dragging, not just selecting nodes. Thanks yasparukko for the bug report.
Improvement: made it easier to select nodes when working very close in VR mode.

Bug fix: disabled node selection through the UI in VR mode.
new option: option to disable plugin when in "Play Mode". Disabled by default.
Thanks to AWARHERO for the bug report and option suggestion.
