You don't need to include older hair. The new version separates the hair into several parts that should be added manually.

I really like this look, especially the face, but the hair doesn't look like it does in the screenshot for me. It's not as thick and there's no scalp. I'm not sure if there's some wrong setting on my end or if the hair settings didn't upload correctly.
