JADE PICKLES
This character was created as part of a public commission within my subscription model. The initial inspiration came from the aesthetic of a well-known Hollywood actress, not as a direct recreation, but as a starting point to shape something with its own identity.
The base texture had already been created and is available for free on the hub. For this version, I made subtle adjustments to the face diffuse to refine expression and balance maturity, along with minor refinements to the body normal map to improve the way light interacts with the surface and silhouette. Nothing overly complex — just careful, quiet polish where it felt necessary.
A few late nights went into dialing in lighting, surface response, and posture until her presence felt coherent. The concept itself was not entirely my own choice, but developed collaboratively with the person who commissioned the piece. It was a shared decision, shaped through discussion and alignment.
In the end, I hope people can feel the restrained strength in her — an understated elegance that speaks more through posture and texture than through exaggeration.
If it resonates with someone, the process was worth it.
