IK for Custom Unity Assets

Plugins IK for Custom Unity Assets

Invaluable, but oh so prone to breaking your hours of work. It's a clear 5 star addition to VAM otherwise.

So here's a bunch of pitfalls I've found to avoid if you don't want to lose hours of work.

?
Don't turn the atom off and save the scene.
Don't switch the CUA asset even by accident.
Don't reuse the same atom if the connection has broken once.
Don't use the name of a past CUA atom that had it's effector connection broken.
Don't use backslashes "\" in the CUA atom name. Possibly other symbols will break it too. Dash - and hashtag # are fine though.
Don't rename the spawned effectors ("X_X_XXXXX_CCD_Effector" etc.)
?

You won't be punished for doing any of these things till you reload your scene. Then you'll find all triangle atoms (effectors) have turned to squares, and then you gotta clean up and redo the setup, while you mourn the loss of animation work.

This makes room for a whoe new world for vam , we can make complex CUA rigs with complicated physics effect.

What a genius work! It makes more possibilities in Vam.
But I got one problem
-- I try to save the shape after I adjust CUA in a scene, next time I open this scene the CUA will become its original shape, is there any way to solve that?

Such a great tool for posing assets! Been struggling on the armature for assets in Unity and could never figure it out. This plugin narrows down that process to a single button as long as you have correctly linked the bones in your assets.

Can't give it enough praise, thank you for creating this!

Great job on this, huge leap for VAM! Is there any chance that the rigged bones could be non-kinematic, or in other words, affected by gravity? It would save a lot of time in Unity if it was possible to access those settings through VAM.
