Pretty nice. I've been using similar setup myself, but it's nice to see someone doing nice subscene for everyone to use. Showing only edge capsules is a good solution as well.
Yeah, it's something that if you know about it you already use in some form, but if you don't it's a mistery why the hair goes through. It's a mix of guide and resource I guess.
An old must have trick, I keep several subscenes of capsules of my own for different sizes. Pretty sure I learned about it studying one of your scenes long time ago.
I've been using this for a while now after learning about it from someone else's scene probably. Even though this takes only a minute to make from scratch, I realised that others may not know about it at all, so here it is to be more widely known.
This is great, thank you. I did not know hair collides with shape objects. The technique also works really well for closeup scenes where you're embody-ing someone laying down, using a sphere to keep hair out of your face.
