Super quick guide to adding slick glow effects at a low cost... in this case, a soft glow to the fire pit, viewable at any angle.
Things You'll Need
1. HPVL plugin by @PluginIdea
2. Rotate to Camera plugin by @Spacedog
3. A light source.
Steps
1. Drop an empty atom near/over your existing light source (or use an existing light atom if you prefer).
2. Add HPVL (high performance volumetric light) plugin to this atom, and tweak the settings until happy with the effect.
3. Uncheck "Is Parameter Realtime" unless the effects will be controlled/modified during playback. This will save a bit of performance hit if the effect is static.
4. Add Rotate to Camera plugin.
5. Profit.
