Fantastic guide. I struggled for months with the process from the ChangelingChick guide. I appreciated that person's work, but I just wasn't good enough with blender to pull it off. Your guide held my hand through all of the confusing steps and the template was the real game changer.

This works, and is something the DAZ community could never explain to me about UV maps. All those pricey utilities using geoshells on DAZ - and this is more reliable. Awesome job!

Yes, it can be done but not going to at this point in time.

No idea how long it will be before Vam 2 is a thing and we don't know how uv selection/switching will work when it does.

In the meantime if you're looking to set up G8 conversion for personal use, you can use a combination of this template plus the original tutorial on how to set up from scratch which is referenced in the user guide.

Despite the issues with the G8F face and torso textures mixing together
that i managed to resolve , this is a great tutorial and template .

Works like a charm. My only issues came up when I forget to "deselect," (which will make more sense when you go through the instructions). Don't forget to deselect! And thanks again MrGiggly!

This is an excellent guide!, and it works very well. My only complaint is that it does not use the latest version of Blender, but that is just a minor thing. You can have two versions of Blender installed. Thank you for the hard work! :)
