Collection of geometric planes that are useful in scoping the views within scenes. I started making planes of this nature in order to establish artificial horizons for outdoor scenes that leverage skyboxes. All of the assets that include 'super huge' or '1000x1000' in the file title extend out to the limits of the viewing field for VAM, pretty much creating an artificial horizon that is beneficial for use with skybox assets.
For the planes labelled with 'black' these planes do not reflect any light whatsoever.
For the snow hill plane, it is recommended to use a low setting on the ambient unity lighting for VAM, but please feel free to experiment.
Planes with 'hill' in the label have terrain mesh, it is possible when you load the asset that the camera viewpoint will be below the mesh, so you will need to adjust the Y axis to get the asset lowered down in order to avoid graphical glitches from being underneath the mesh.
The plane with a hole is a specialized plane that may be useful for portal effects, such as those effects available in Farger's_Particle_Pack_Volume_1.
I used this plane in Demo 3 and sized it down to 0.7 on the size scale setting in order to match it in size with the portal effect.
The last screenshot below demonstrates how ground planes can add an outdoors base layer for the terrific set of Skyboxes created by Spacedog.
