This is a texture pack with layered goth-style lipstick decals to be used with Chokaphi's Decal Maker plugin. This pack is actually part of a larger pack called Goth Kit; for now I plan to release the contents in separate vars, which will help me update the packs, but when I finish everything I plan to put it all together in one complete package.
This time the Decal Maker plugin is basically a requirement, not just a usage alternative. At first I was baking all the decals, but the increase in textures was growing exponentially with each new variation added, so in the end it became something unfeasible. I can still bake the most interesting combinations and post them separately, but it will be difficult to do this with all possible combinations.
It's going to be a little difficult to list all the textures, so I'll just explain the naming of the filenames. I think it will be possible to work from there.
It's kind of like this:
L: Layer — B: Blur — C: Color — T: Texture
Color HEX:
C1: #070009
C2: #490227
C3: #690319
C4: #440505
C5: #2B0153
C6: #73018C
C7: #F0F0F0
Texture Names:
T0: No Texture
T1: Upside Down Cross
T2: Heart
T3: Stripes
Example:
faceDecal_Lips_DM_L1T0B03C1
First layer, no texture, blur [3%] and color [#070009].
These layers represent the recommended order for these decals to be loaded in the Decal Maker plugin.
I recommend that you test the decals in different opacities and combinations until you find a spot with a decent result. I got the best results with something like this...
First Layer: High opacity, at or near 100%.
Second Layer: Low opacity, varying depending on skin and other layers; you can also turn it off completely if you don't like the effects.
Third Layer: Same as the second, low opacity; sometimes I also just turn it off.
Fourth Layer: It depends if you want the effect of the texture, if you want I recommend a high opacity, preferably 100%.
Note: These textures were baked using the Female Base textures as a base. So they might not work very well on textures based on other models.
