Face_Wizard is an ultra-simple plugin for instantly generating faces, while also offering an advanced category-based mode.

With just one click, you can create an original facial look, or refine it using more advanced settings.

Below you’ll find two demonstration videos (1 & 2), followed by an overview of the user interface and its main features (3), some additional details (4), and credits (5).

1) One click = one face

A single click on Face_Wizard’s main page is enough to generate a new face. Perfect for quickly discovering new morphologies and exploring a wide variety of facial designs:

2) More clicks = more customization

If you’d like to go further, you can adjust various face categories (Brow, Eyes, Nose, etc.) and refine each facial zone. You can choose how many morphs will be activated, set minimum and maximum values specific to each part, and so on:

3) UI and features overview

Main page

  • Facial categories: lists the face parts (light green if active, light red if inactive).
  • Global sliders (affect all face categories):
    • MinMorph/MaxMorph: define the amplitude of generation (minimum and maximum limits).
    • Morphs/Cat: how many morphs per category will be randomly picked.
    • Speed: generation speed (0 = instant, 1 = gradual).
  • Main buttons:
    • Generate: generates a complete face without resetting, allowing multiple successive generations to stack.
    • Reset Face: reverts the face to its initial state (the Person’s values upon plugin load).
    • Undo: cancels the last generation.
    • Reset & Generate: combines a reset and generation in a single click.
  • Save/Load:
    • Save Face / Load Face: saves or loads the morphs managed by Face_Wizard (with a screenshot included when saving).
    • Save Preset / Load Preset: saves or loads all plugin settings (active categories, sliders, morph toggles, etc.).

Secondary pages (one for each face part)

  • Activate: activates or deactivates the face part (light green if active, light red if inactive). This lets you precisely select which zones will be affected during generation.
  • Generate: generates only that part of the face, without resetting (e.g., only the “Nose” area).
  • Reset: restores that part to its initial values as of plugin load.
  • Select All / Deselect All: checks or unchecks all morphs in the category.
  • Back: returns to the main page.
  • Reset & Generate: resets then generates only that particular face part.
  • Refine: generates just the current part, but with reduced amplitude (local Min/Max cut in half).
  • Min / Max for the category: local sliders (e.g., “Nose Min” / “Nose Max”) that set the amplitude of generation for that part of the face.
  • Morphs / cat: how many morphs will be used among those available for the part in question.
  • All Morphs: allows you to individually check or uncheck every morph Face_Wizard can use. For example, if you notice a morph you don’t want in your generated faces, you can disable it here (remember to save your Preset).
  • Active Morphs: display the morph sliders used by the generation to modify them individually and manually for optimized refinement.

4) Details and tips

  • Saving a face you like and have finished working on: use VaM’s usual in-game tools (Save Look or Save Appearance).
  • Plugin’s Save Face function: primarily serves to save faces into a dedicated folder, so as not to clutter your Look or Appearance folders.
  • Combining a face with a body: use Morph Merge and Split to create a slider for your favorite body and combine it with the face generated by Face_Wizard (https://hub.virtamate.com/resources/morph-merge-and-split.15048/).
  • Starting from a “default” Person morph: it can be helpful to begin with a Person that has no morphs and no pose, to better appreciate the random generation effect.
  • Starting from an existing Look: allowing you to create variations of an already formed face (the morphs Face_Wizard uses will combine with your Look’s own morphs).
  • Doesn’t replace a handcrafted Look: the faces generated by Face_Wizard can look good, but nothing can replace the talent of Look creators who are artists.

5) Credits

This is my first plugin, so feel free to leave comments if you like it—I’d really appreciate it!

Enjoy!

Love this, as it saves me hours going through all my morphs when making faces. A body version of this would be amazing, if it doesn't already exist.

I love this idea. I spent hours playing with pinosante's evo tool and I suspect this will be the same. Great tutorial videos.
One request though. Could you make an accompanying scene? Not that I can't add this to any scene, but I've found that a face may look good in default state but when you apply a smile morph or other expressions the look sometimes gets creepy. So when I create a look, I like to run it through the paces of smile, frown, surprise, etc to make sure it looks good in each. A simple scene with quick expression change buttons would be a great accompaniment to this plugin.

Thanks for your comment! For what you're looking for, it already exists in much better form than I would do: i.e.there is already this plugin (https://hub.virtamate.com/resources/expression-randomizer-by-extraltodeus.28738/) and many scenes like https://hub.virtamate.com/resources/nervous-or-flirty.30690/.
