Seems exciting but when it says to blow out the flames using your hands, nothing happens, or it isn't explained how to do that. Lighting them up works, but blowing them out?

Do you have collision turned on for your VR hands? That may affect the scene. I'm not sure, but will check. Also, you have to start with the candle right in front of her.
