Clever use of opacity to create variation.
High quality material with diffuse- (*doh*), normal-, gloss- and specular maps! No technical mistakes like 48 bit color depth that waste memory.

Pictures with presets and good light.
(Careful with black hair characters on black background. Can look bad if there is not enough contrast. It's okay here, but I think this could be better. In this scenario place a light above her to give her hair a 'shine' or behind her to make it look more like an outline. A trick used in movies. But I'm very nitpicky here - sorry :)

Thank you for your review, I'm touched that you've taken the time to give in depth feedback :) Regarding the black background, I've tended to always go for that because it was the easiest flat colour to use. Luckily for me *someone* has just made a plugin to easily change the background colour so you might see some more variation from me in future ;D
