Hi Guest!
Please be aware that we have released a critical security patch for VaM. We strongly recommend updating to version 1.22.0.7 using the VaM_Updater found in your installation folder.
Details about the security patch can be found here.
Forgot to add the BL modules WatchMe and PoseMe. For PoseMe it should be irrelevant, but the watch triggers didn't get restored on update becasue of this.
The var versions stored in your selected plugin presets can now be auto updated. If true, the suite will always add the latest var version available on your system to created persons or on scene load. However, it will NOT replace instances that are already present on the persons. It just adds the latest if the plugin is missing.
You can choose to:
Leave the outdated plugin preset as it is, and let the suite adjust it on the fly.
Press the button "Override Preset" to bring your stored preset file up to date.
Keep in mind that updating a plugin can lead to incompatibilities. E.g. the stored settings might not get restored properly on the newer version.
I REALLY like this update. It lifts the whole thing to a new level, I think
The plugin now automatically downloads the latest versions of my plugins from the hub. You can toggle this feature for every plugin. Don't forget to update your User Defaults. The download takes place on three occasions:
Right after VaM startup. If there's something to download, expect a small hickup and the plugin warning.
For each plugin there is a button to force the download. Useful if you have VaM open and a new version just popped up. The downloaded plugin is fully available and you are ready to update any persons in the scene by pressing the button "Update Persons". No reset or rescan is needed.
If you reload this plugin. This ignores your User Defaults though.
In any case: The download was successful if you get the usual plugin warning after a few seconds. If nothing happens you're already on the latest version.
I also corrected the typo in the resource name (and var name).
