I give you a chunk of new functionality that now comes out of early access. The release notes are as follows:

• Auto Voxta for quick configuration of Voxta plugin
• Play mode chat so that you can now close the UI and still chat with the character in two versions - normal and compact
• Folders in User Actions
• Early flag implementation (a full integration with Voxta's flag system is being developed NOW)

There are also a bunch of action bundles available which add the custom movements and action definitions plus some good demo scenes.

• BAM (bulk action manager) module added - tutorial in the attached video. Allows handling multiple actions at once. Simplifies routing process
• Action bundle import feature. Tutorial on my YT channel.
• Group and layer assignment via drop down components, there're no longer a text field
• Group context - add a common context to a whole group of actions
• Global layers - add actions in a layer to Action List automatically so they don't need to be linked (useful for emotions e.g.)
• Action transition auto-complete, there's no need for triggers in animations anymore
• Multiple small bug fixes and quality of life additions

If you are waiting for "User Actions" to be released then I have good news for you as the release is scheduled for today or tomorrow. I needed a little more time to prepare a proper tutorial for it this time around. The functionality is complicated and I would like all of you to properly understand what can be achieved and how.

On the Early Access front:

I've just released the very first Action Bundle to my Patreons.

What is an action bundle you may ask:

• Action Bundle contains a set of behaviors your character can perform and that can be called by an AI - actions
• There are both animations and action definitions in each bundle
• With several clicks you integrate this new behavior into a new or an existing scene adding Voxta with ease.
• The idea is to have many bundles so that you can choose which ones you like and then link them nicely together using ALM

The video below shows some of the "Emotions" action bundle and a WIP bundle called "Coffee"

On my YouTube channel you can also find a nice movie, that I've made a few days ago showing how easy it is to add Voxta to a new scene

OH! and I almost forgotten ... Alita has a new voice now

• Transition action fixes for @lapiro . Now routing is handled properly.

• Fixed the behavior of chat text field:
  • pressing Enter does not make it loose focus so you can type forever
  • getting out of the field does not make you commit the message, the value stays on until you confirm with Enter

Additional information:

User Actions feature just went into early access for all my patreons. I highly recommend this one. It allows you to do all sorts of things directly from your wrist at the proper time defined by routing:

• Change allowed actions for Voxta Character - if you want to restrict the character from doing something before you click the button
• Define triggers - change something in the scene: show additional object, change something in the plugins etc.
• Send a TriggerMessage to the Voxta Character - let the character know that you did something so that they can react to it

some example usages:

Example Uno: Alita's last action was "Sit on a chair". In ALM you'd route a User Action called "Sit in front" so you'd be able to choose it now from your wrist menu. This user action would change the context of the LLM letting Alita know that something has changed and send a Trigger Message with "{{user}} sits in front of you on a chair"

Example Dos: Alita's last action was "Lie down". In ALM you'd route a User Action called "Cover with blanket" so you'd be able to select it in UIAssist. After pressing the button on the wrist a trigger showing the blanket will be called so Alita will become covered and a Trigger Message with "{{user}} covers {{char}} with a blanket" will be sent.

Example Tres: Alita's last action was "Walk to the door". In ALM you'd route a User Action called "Cover the door with your body" which would prevent Alita from leaving. When selecting this action from wrist menu Alita's action inference routing will be changed as she can no longer leave your flat without making you move and a Trigger Message will be sent making Alita know what has happened.

• Added inspector addon that allows you to:
  • chat with Voxta character using keyboard
  • shows you the status and available actions
  • enables rollback and clean chat options
  • inspector window is draggable and slightly opaque
  • messages are persistent and stay there till scene reload or plugin refresh
• Small bugs from previous releases fixed
• Create a feature preview video for inspector addon
