CuaGpuColliders

Plugins + Scripts CuaGpuColliders

Download [0.15 MB]
A simple plugin that enables CUA atoms to collide with VAM clothing and hair.

To use the plugin, just add CuaGpuColliders.clist to a CUA atom.

When attached to a CUA atom, it automatically creates GPU colliders for any sphere and capsule colliders it can find in the asset.
It will do nothing if the asset has only box or mesh colliders, those are not supported by GPU colliders.

The plugin has nothing to configure, but you can check its custom UI for an overview of colliders it found in the asset. It will automatically reconfigure GPU colliders if you change the asset used by the atom. Disabling the plugin will remove the GPU colliders, enabling it will create them again.

The simple testing spinner object is included in the VAR package, you can find it in Custom/Assets/Foost/CuaGpuColliders/spinner.assetbundle.

The beautiful Tifa from the video is not included, you can get her from https://hub.virtamate.com/resources/tifa-lockhart.46316/

Great work, it means we need to add shpere and capsule colliders when we create our CUA prefab?

Yep, the plugin just creates GPU colliders for already existing sphere/capsule colliders inside the CUA.

Thank you very much for making this. Much cleaner than parenting invisible shapes to my CUAs to make them interact with clothes.

Oh my god, it's amazing that what I've been searching for has actually succeeded. I've tried many ways, but I can't make CUA collide with clothing. Although mesh is not suitable, this is sufficient. Thank you very much.
