• Happy Holidays Guest!

We want to announce that we will be working at reduced staffing for the holidays. Specifically Monday the 23rd until Jan 2nd.

This will affect approval queue times and responses to support tickets. Please adjust your plans accordingly and enjoy yourselves this holiday season!

  • Hi Guest!

Please be aware that we have released a critical security patch for VaM. We strongly recommend updating to version 1.22.0.7 using the VaM_Updater found in your installation folder.

Details about the security patch can be found here.

Adding custom glare to lights in Vam is a difficult task: in general, we can use Postmagic's Bloom to forcibly add a limited glare effect. But the effect is relatively simple, and we can't stretch the value of Bloom too much.

Now I bring this glare plugin that is highly customizable. It has several advantages:

1. High performance. Hardly any performance is consumed. You can apply it to real or fake lights.

2. Highly customizable. All you have to do is choose the right glare texture to achieve the glare effect you want.

3. In desktop mode, it works great.

4. Abundant parameter adjustment.

How to use:
Note: The plugin already comes with a set of Flare textures.

There are two cslists in the package.

LightFlare.cslist: A plugin that implements flare, adding the plugin to an empty atom or a light atom. The glare texture can then be freely modified (see video).

FaultyLightFlicker.cslist: Extra functionality that can only be added to light atoms. Realize the automatic flashing function of the light. See the video for details.
