quickplace subscenes

This template now includes a subscene atom named quickplace that is used to load any number of environments quickly.

A quickplace subscene loads a environment with a Timeline plugin that shares the Segment names with the persons' Timeline segments. In so, when you click for the animation Doggy, all Doggy named segments (person, UI, environment) sync and the environment positions itself in a suitable place. These subscenes only work for my 2023 Template scene, which now becomes more than a template and can be used in many environments immediately.

I'll be writing a guide about this soon, but if you want to try it out now, here are my quickplace subscenes and instructions:

Minor updates


The main reason was the above subscene atom, but I also included some updates:
  • Initial pose adjustments for BJ
  • Extended "Surface" cube atom to provide a broader collision surface to the persons
  • Addition of capsule atoms attached to the "Surface" cube atom to provide a source of collision for hair in all animations provided
  • Extended fade to black time
This is a major version update that changes the structure of the control atoms and how poses are stet.
It's a breaking change, you can't update older template scenes to this one without doing some involved work.

Control subscenes (ControlSS...)

These subscenes are no more. I changed the use of subscenes to a empty atom structure as it can do what is needed without the extra complexity of subscenes. In the act the names of the atoms are changed and it's one of the main reasons for the breaking change of the template version.

Poses for sex actions are now set in their segments
This is the other breaking change, Poses are now saved in the first animation of their segment.
Previously the poses were saved in the Pose Segment alongside the Reset pose, which had its benefits, but this also caused some posing problems with targets that differed a lot from the set pose. In the end I decided it was better in the long run to have the segment and pose together.

Glance plugin themes
As there's a "excited" and "sad" expression options, I included a few triggers to change the Glance plugin settings to fit the expression chosen. The triggers are present in the ControlShared atom (#0).

Proper use of the Weight factor in animations

I confused Weight and RandomGroupWeight in the Timeline animations, this is now set correctly to what I wanted to have it.

Synced UI/Surface when posing

The Timeline in ControlMisc to handle the position of the UI and surface atom share the animation names of the persons Timelines. In this way, moving a person to the "bj start" animation (saved pose) or the UI Timeline, all are synced to the right position. While this makes posing easier it also has a delay for the Surface atom to position itself under the female. This may lead to a ocasional collision problem depending on how far apart the person and Surface atoms are and state of animations. The FFM template has a second Surface atom to minimize this factor for the second female.

There was also some cleanup here and there.
This corrects a small mistake, I forgot to add triggers to activate the floatrandomizer that handles the thrust speed in "close" position of the Table sex animation.
As this is a minor mistake I will not be updating the scenes using this template just because of this. If they do receive more substantial updates they will come with the missing triggers.


Correction instructions for scenes you made using the template


It's a very simple change to make:
  1. Go to the empty atoms subscene with triggers (ControlSS), select the TableControl atom and the first plugin (VAMDirector)
  2. On the prepare action, duplicate the randomizer on trigger and instead of plugin#1(floatrandomizer) do the same trigger for plugin#3(floatrandomizer)
  3. Do the same for the period trigger
  4. Then also make the corrections in the play and pre-cum actions
This only is needed for the standard template, the FFM template was already correct.

Extra change added (QOL)


I also included a male cum clothing preset to mergeload it when pressing the "clean fluids" button. This is a better option in case you change the male atom and lose the starting cum clothing, this way it can be added back just like it happens with the female atom.
The FFM template was missing some triggers to enable and control the TableUI/2 thrust randomizer plugin (#3).
If you are using this template and want to correct them, check the changes in the Director plugin of ControlSS/Table(2)Control prepare and play for the missing triggers to floatparamrandomizer #3.

I've also adjusted the females "close" positions to not headbutt the male if he's also in the "close" position.
Maybe I am, but this brings a couple more improvements:
  • Button in BodyUI to turn off glute physics (if ON and during the current sex act) to get more FPS, especially useful with the FFM template
  • The end of a animation returns the female's facial expressions to a neutral state instead of stopping abruptly on whatever expression it had; this ocasionally would give really stupid looks ?
  • Pressing the reset button will also hide the UI

This update brings a couple of quality of life updates and bug fixes:
  • EventAudio logicbrick for the quickmusic assetbundle player to trigger when the queue is empty
  • (FFM) broken triggers for cumflation on Female2
  • (FFM) wrong Male animation on speed of pre-cum in groundhog2
  • Higher speeds for groundhog animations
  • Some small things here and there
No seriously, this one fixes a problem with the sex positions UI lingering and not even the reset button would clear it all. Thanks for pointing that out @KyloMan34
The issue was on some triggers to reset the VAMActions plugin that is used to make the buttons, but that sometimes didn't work and I didn't really need to do it. So far tests seem to have cleared this issue completely ?

If you want to fix this problem and you already made a scene using version 15 or 16, make a preset of the following from v17:
  • ControlSS/ResetControl
  • ControlSS/MissionaryControl
  • ControlSS2/MissionaryControl
  • MissionaryUI
  • MissionaryUI2
Then in your scene load the corresponding presets. If you made changes in those atoms don't forget to add those changes back after loading the preset.

OMG, I hope this is the last version for a while, but do let me know if you spot problems and the reset button doesn't fix it.
Floatparamrandomizer for expressions speed in a subscene
This will give problems as the receiver is outside the subscene, so now it's in the sexslap audiosource. Silly mistake that I thought I had learned to not make it.

Missing UI options in Doggy for male position

Forgot that I had options for the proximity of the male's position. Sorted now.
There was nothing wrong with the previous version, but it could be better. Hopefully this one is:
  • Back to using 2 templates as it's a lot more convenient this way
  • Doggy positions animations and triggers were renamed to match what they are like now
  • Expression speed randomization
  • Cleanup in poses and removal of some pesky arm movements that would get weird AF
Cross your fingers that there's no massive bug I didn't notice.
So here is a fixed version 14 ?
