I'm not sure. I suspect that it will all be more daz based and people grabbing and modifying existing daz models. Daz has some really nice face grabbing mods as well that are better than facegen, so I suspect those will become the standard.
Yeah I need to organize my looks as well. I'm torn between organizing by shows or movies like I do with my own or by the artists who made the looks. Plus need to hide all the models after I get the looks. So many scenes right now. It is scary.
Um... I just saw Betsy... WOW!!! I'm fiddling around with the look ATM. Personally, I prefer the red hair on her from Private School, and have been playing with options. I think her face should be a little more chiseled/angular, but the look is very very close! I must have spent hours screen-capping frontal and side shots of her head to get a good result in FaceGen, but none came as close as you pulled off.
For the record, I have BoyaVAM working on a commission of her... curious to see what he comes up with, but this is already VERY good!
Glad you like her! I owe you or someone thanks. I couldn't find any good pics, but someone on a request thread in discord put up a pretty good front facing and two profile pics and Facegen liked them. I would love to see your final take on her, if you feel like sharing. If not that is cool as well.
LOL... if the Discord user was "Serpant 4"? I spent about 3-4 hours checking the movie for good screen caps, and the ones I posted on BoyaVAM's channels were the best (I think) I capped. What's the easiest way for me to share what I came up with?
Just putting them up on Mega works. I'm fairly sporadic about doing anything as I have other more real world projects I'm working on, but eventually I might get around to something.
yeah... I'm honestly torn. Yours and his both look really good in different ways. I think yours moves better in VR, though. Not to get too picky... he's doing a really good job making instantly recognizable looks, but I wonder if his are better suited for screen capping in head-on angles, versus a look that performs will in 3D from all angles?
I try if I can to work on the side angles and the nose and chin so I can see the actress from the side. That is often where I don't quite see the character in things I download. Limited success though, so I get how tough it is to achieve anything close.
Out of curiosity, which are the actress looks you're most after? I was chatting with BoyaVAM, and he mentioned someone else had been asking about 70s actresses... could only assume he may have meant you. I'm hoping to keep him churning out some of my 80s favorites one/month for a while, but I have fond memories of the 70s as well.
Thanks for asking. I'm more a TV guy so I'm thinking of Marilu Henner on Taxi, Markie Post on Night Court, Julia Duffy and Mary Frann on Newhart, later Courtney Cox, Laura Prepon who I can't get right, etc... So not everyone's cup of tea.
I think I have decent Jenn Aniston, Jackie Burke, Patricia Richardson, Patty Heaton from Raymond and The Middle, Christiana Applegate, Phylicia Rashad and maybe some others if you want any / all of them. Not sure what I've put up on Hub.
I really need to go over everything I've made and tweak and see what is decent and what is trash.
Definitely agree with you on Markie Post... have you seen her appearance on Buck Rogers? If she was ever trying to play at a blonde actress not proud of her boobs (as Christine on Night Court), the outfit she wore on Buck Rogers blew that notion out of the water.
