lulu_c137 submitted a new resource:

EZClothPlugin - quickly add clothing plugins in VAM

Description

VAM lets you put plugins on clothing and hair items, but gives you no way to manage them.

This plugin adds a button to the clothing and hair cards for quick access.

Because of VAM's script sandbox, only local custom items are supported for now.

How to use

  1. Load it as a Session plugin (recommended) or on a Person atom.
  2. Open a Person's Clothing or Hair page.
  3. Click the button at the top left of...

This made me chuckle a little. 'Lets' seems like a strong word, given that we're just all tricking VAM into executing code where it doesn't expect to.

Thanks for putting this together! ❤️

I should be the one thanking you — you're the reason this whole era exists.

Doesn't seem to be working. I don't get the thumbnail grid boxes at all. Removed all my other plugins, loaded it as session and then as person atom plugin. Nothing.

lulu_c137 updated EZClothPlugin with a new update entry:

Minor feature improvements.

  • Version 2
    • Swapping an item's plugins now updates its .clothingplugins preset as well.
    • Clothing and hair items are force-reloaded automatically after a change.
    • Both can be switched on and off individually in the settings panel.

  • 版本 2
    • 更换注入插件时,.clothingplugins 也会同步修改。
    • 修改完成后会自动强制重载服装和头发。
    • 以上功能均可以在设置面板中单独开关。

Seems to work fine for adding plugins to clothing, but the plugin tab doesn't show up for using this on hair items. The option in the UI is there for hair, it does make edits to the .vaj file for hair, but when the hair is reloaded the actual plugin tab does not show up after adding Stopper's Clothing Plugin Manager.

I didn't see this in your demo video... is there a way to add multiple plugins to the same clothing item?
You'd add Stopper's Clothing Manager Plugin, and open the clothing customize menu where you'll have a dark blue Plugin tab on the left of the panel (above the usual Scalp, Physics, Looks tabs). Click the Plugin tab and you'll see Stopper's plugin there, and you'll also be able to add whatever other plugins you want. Once you have everything loaded in and settings tweaked with what you want, go into the UI of Stopper's Plugin and save the default preset for that clothing, so that when you reload it loader, Stopper's Clothing Manager Plugin will read the default preset and automatically load other plugins and their settings.
