Hi guys,

I hope you can help. I have bought an awesome scene with a character but I want to be able to edit and save that character in other scenes but when i try to modify say hair / clothes etc and save the scene the character loses 1 morph that is the characters look. All the other morphs are present apart from the one that gives the character it's full body shape etc.

It's like this morph is locked to the scene and can't be transferred. I have tried saving as a preset appearence too and same issue as soon as I change hair / clothes I lose the morph that is the character.

If anyone has a plugin or advice I would really appreciate it.

Solution
you can locally transfer these morphs from the VAR archive to your custom folder. Or check the box in the game itself to allow the use of morphs in other scenes.

Thanks for the advice but I am very new to vam so can you explain what the VAR archive is and where the check box is in the game itself :)

Another way to do that is to use the Package Manager, find the package containing the morph, and select Preload Morphs in User Preferences. You should also favorite the morph. Then, that morph from the original package should show up in your morph list. It should also work in an Appearance Preset. Normally, an appearance preset should save all the morphs and load them as needed, but sometimes it screws up. I've never had to unpack a var just to use a morph.
