Not to insult your intelligence, but every step of this was followed?
- Go to python.org/downloads.
- Download the latest stable version (anything 3.8 through 3.12 works).
- Important: tick "Add Python to PATH" on the first screen of the installer. This is the most common trip-up.

yes, ive got python 3.12 installed and checked add to path when i was installing it, i tried older versions from 3.8-3.12 to no avail

Hm, let me investigate!

To be clear-- this is what the external .bat shell is telling you, not a log inside VaM?

At last! We did it. After a little back and forth, the issue was solved by the age old "uninstall Python, re-install python" method. No more errors, the Launchmaker.bat worked, and the plugin is cooking. Will check in tomorrow for an update.

But now, he's cruising. 🤘 🤘
