Im not good at acidbubbles timeline, I just started yesterday but im only converting my vam timeline animations to it. I wanted to make shorter animations rather than one 10 minute long animation thats a pain to wait for certain parts.
I converted 2 vam timeline animations so that I could have them in acidbubbles time so that I could have buttons switch between them. I opened another scene and look how they did it but it doesnt work for me.

I know nothing about acidbubbles timeline but im trying to learn, I converted 2 scenes and in AB Timelines there is a segment 1 with 1 animation and a segment 2 with 1 animation.

I made 2 buttons play scene 1 and play scene 2
the problem is when I click play scene 1 it works fine, but in the middle of the animation if I click play scnene 2 the model will twist into the second position and she will be contorted into a knot.... Id I click scene 1 again she will snap back top first positions back to normal. I need it so that she snaps into position for each scene/button when I click it. Not slowly trasitions to the next posotions, it just turns her into a knot.

Anyone have any quick ideas? I have tried many things in the button actions but couldn't get it right and gave up.

Is there a scene selection plugin or anything?

Thanks

No. It's because you're misunderstanding Timeline.

Timeline is not a "play a scene" plugin (so any animation would be "a scene")... it's a "animate this character/object" plugin. So this mean that any animation will always try to keep up with the current state of the character, blend into each animation, so on and so forth... it's the logic and way of animating in games : )

So in your case, you simply need to add a pose with the pose tab at for each animation, ensure to have the checkbox "apply on transition", and you're pretty much done.
Of course this goes without saying that this pose needs to be somewhat very similar to the first frame of the anim. So the ideal approach is to reset/move to the first frame before saving the pose.
