Hello, this is an amazing plugin. I really appreciate your work.
However, I’ve run into an issue: after adjusting the settings and saving the scene, all the values are reset when I load it again.

Could you please let me know if there is a proper way to save and retain the settings?
Thank you very much.

Hi @rarirurero69,

Thank you for your interest and the kind words! To answer your question: because this release is currently in beta, there isn't a way to retain those settings just yet, and saving is not active as noted here.

Regarding future updates: a significant amount of effort has gone into developing the framework for my plugins, so I am still evaluating the most sustainable pricing model. I plan to release more sophisticated, integrated tools where saving functionality will form a core part of the premium features.

However, I am also designing "smart" defaults and features to ensure a great experience for every user. My goal is to support the creator community with tools that save time, and as we know, time is money.

I truly appreciate your support and feedback during this beta phase. Please feel free to reach out if you have any other questions!

Looks cool! I haven't try this yet but how is it different from adding a light to timeline adjusting from there?

Hi @RS Studios.

The most notable improvement is in performance. By switching to Unity Lights, we've achieved a significant reduction in overhead per light. My initial proof of concept utilized VAM lights, but the performance gains with Unity Lights were so substantial that I decided to migrate immediately.

Furthermore, the tethering features and refined shadow settings streamline the process of adding and automating lights. These shadow settings also offer more granular control, allowing you to optimize performance across various scenes.

I plan to introduce more features soon and am always open to suggestions, please feel free to share your thoughts!

Horing Koning updated HK SceneControl with a new update entry:

HK SceneControl — v0.2 Update | Anchor Lights to any Transform

HK SceneControl — v0.2 Update

✨ New Feature — Add Custom Light By Path

You can now anchor a light to any transform in the scene hierarchy, not just top-level atoms. This is useful when you want a light to follow a specific bone, a prop's child object, or any other sub-object that isn't directly exposed as a VAM atom.

How to use it
  • Go to Lights → Add Custom Light
  • Click Add Custom Light By Path...
