VaM 1.x Fatal error cant download

trying to install lastest version, just stops on a random percentage freezes and dies. tried different versions, re downloaded installer.
ive restarted it a few times seems to continue slightly but barely.
not on vpn my internet is fine

You can't install Vam into the Desktop, or any folder Windows considers protected space. Try C:\Games\Vam.

• Avoid special chars in your path ( spaces, weird letters, anything weird... )
• Check your HDD/SSD space
• Check you have admin rights on the folder
