Hi, using decalMaker, for the "wet oil" look do i only load the "wet G" textures in gloss or do i load anything for specular too?

Thank you for asking!

There is one specular map that's used for all the different gloss maps. The textures are in the default location within the package and they are all names ending in "S2K"

Most of the gloss textures except the old "oily" are in named folders within that default location.

Let me know if you have any more questions, and thanks for checking out these textures!

I think I will be making a "demo scene" to accompany this soon that can load the different sets at the press of the button, with a little bonus animation too.

Can you share the skin presets?

I can add them. There's currently a demo scene with buttons to easily apply the presets to any character, if that will help in the meantime. Thanks for asking!

KillDozer69 updated OILY - say GG to friction with a new update entry:

V6 - MORE MESSY TEXTURES!

say GG to friction with 7 sets of oily full body gloss textures!

NEW Update to OILY (V6)

Added a new SPLATTER texture that builds off the last dripping WET update. This is probably my messiest one yet!
As if that wasn't enough, I also added 2 new blends of (SPLATTER x LITE) and (LITE x WET) and Skin Presets for all options!
SPLATTER x LITE is my new favorite.

VAR INCLUDES
Skin Presets for tan skin + all gloss options

Shiny Specular Maps (2K) FIXED! (use with...

What style of texture do you want added to next month's update?

I added the Specular and Gloss Textures like in your Looks to an Look of mine but the effect is way too weak.
Even your Look "ARJI" for example does not have Oily skin like in your appearance preset where she is nude in the screenshot.

Is there something else I have to set up? And yes the look in the Screenshot has your Gloss and Specular Textures attached.

My first glance at this picture suggests you have don't have your shader settings turned all the way up in VaM,
Make sure that "Shader Quality" is set to "High" in your VaM User Preferences or you will not see the gloss and specular effects.

Another thing to try is increasing Arji's "Specular Intensity" and "Gloss" in her "Skin Materials 2" Tab, and also decreasing the "Specular Fresnel"

As always, this will also depend on the lighting in your scene. I would recommend removing directional lights and using Spot Lights. This looks like Arji's own scene so that shouldn't be an issue here.

Let me know if any of this helped. I want you to see the textures in their full glory!

I doubled the Specular Intensity to 2 and reduced Specular Fresnel a little and that worked now.
Thank you it looks great :D

Do I have to manually add the Gloss and Specular Textures everytime or is there a way to load a preset that adds them onto a custom Look?
